Year Five — October 2026

Every Step
Gets Us Closer.

What started as three friends and a hike has grown into a community raising money, having fun, and fighting Parkinson's Disease — one peak at a time.

How Three Friends Started a Movement

In 2022, Will, Pete, and Sam laced up their boots and set out to do something about the disease affecting their families. What started as one hike and a fundraising page has turned into five years of summits, polar plunges, fitness challenges, and a whole lot of community.

We've hiked hundreds of miles, raised over $87,000 for Parkinson's research, and built something that keeps growing. This year we made it official with our own 501(c)(3) — because we're just getting started.

Peak Week Challenge

Back for the third year running! Pick a team — Coiley, Stinson, or Selby — and help them take the win. Track your steps and minutes through Count. It, sync your fitness app or log manually, and see which team can rally the hardest.

This year it's pay-what-you-can, open to everyone — Peaks for Parkinson's is covering the Count. It platform cost so more of our community can jump in. Donations are still welcome, but fitness is the focus.

September 14–20, 2026 One week, three teams, tracked through Count. It
Team Coiley · Team Stinson · Team Selby Only 3 teams this year — fewer teams means more competition

More Ways We're Getting Active

Our yearly Founder's Challenge is the heart of what we do — but it isn't the only way we're pushing ourselves for this cause. In August 2026, a P4P team is taking on Hood to Coast, the largest relay race in the world, running under the Peaks for Parkinson's name to get our brand in front of a whole new community.

It's part of a bigger goal: finding new challenges, in new places, with new people, that keep the awareness (and the miles) growing year-round. If this one goes well, we're hoping it's the first of many events like it.
